Kapamilya network files P63-million civil case against AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines

ABS CBN has filed a case against AGB Nielsen Media Research after it allegedly failed in complying to the Kapamilya network’s request to investigate and probe reported cheatings and tampering in the gathering of television ratings data. During their press conference on December 14, ABS CBN network representatives reported that a man appeared in their Bacolod office who claimed that there is an anomaly in the AGB Nielsen Media Research ratings system and the cheating is allegedly administered by another network. While the exact name of the network has been omitted, it is obvious that the network being referred to is ABS CBS’s rival network GMA 7.
