A youtube user by the username tribalangel26 who is obviously a fan of Angel Locsin, claims in one of her videos that Marimar star Marian Rivera underwent physical enhancements and actually belongs to the list of showbiz retokadas. Sergio Santibanez paid an official to fake his wedding and he finally admits to Marimar that the wedding was a fake. Marimar is also set to buy Villa Santibanez.

Because of Bella's desire to make her daughter Cruzita happy, she decided to make Sergio a part of her daughter's life. This should have been a prelude to Marimar (aka Bella) and Sergio's reunion but more problems seem to appear: Angelika saw the copy of Sergio and Marimar's bogus marriage certificate and Rodolfo San Jinez' losing company also makes him more determined to marry Bella Aldama.

Brief Summary of Marimar Philippines Episde 70 aired November 16:
Bella finally admits to her daughter Cruzita that Sergio is her father. Angelika learns that Bella Aldama is Marimar.
Sergio Santibanez is now convinced that Marimar and Bella Aldama (Marian Rivera) are one. Angelika was sent out of Bella Aldama's casino. Ricardo Santibanez, on the other hand, was left alive in the premises of a hospital and Carmina Villaroel (who plays as a doctor) saw him. Sergio enters Cruzita's hospital room past through security guards by pretending to be a nurse.
In Episode 69, Corazon finally admits to Sergio that:
Marimar is alive
Marimar and Bella are one
Cruzita is Sergio's daughter
Cruzita also learned who her real father is.
