I searched for some showbiz news online and viola! Wowowee's controversial segment, Wilyonaryo, which has already been replaced by a new segment Merrygalo has another video controversy, a rehearsal leak video entitled "kita nyo". The new wowowee scandal video which shows how cheating is allegedly rehearsed in Wowowee was uploaded by youtube users baisanallan, kenkoy008888 and gaboikent.

Kapamilya network files P63-million civil case against AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines

ABS CBN has filed a case against AGB Nielsen Media Research after it allegedly failed in complying to the Kapamilya network’s request to investigate and probe reported cheatings and tampering in the gathering of television ratings data. During their press conference on December 14, ABS CBN network representatives reported that a man appeared in their Bacolod office who claimed that there is an anomaly in the AGB Nielsen Media Research ratings system and the cheating is allegedly administered by another network. While the exact name of the network has been omitted, it is obvious that the network being referred to is ABS CBS’s rival network GMA 7.

Valerie Concepcion’s manager Becky Aguila was reportedly surprised when she learned about the Valerie Concepcion-Many Pacquiao torrid kissing scene in the Metro Manila Film Festival movie Anak ng Kumander.

"Tinangap ko itong project na ito with the understanding na si Valerie will be playing a major support role. Walang kissing scene. The most that she can do is hawakan siya [Manny] sa kamay, or yakapin siya,"

Valerie Concepcion cried over the much publicized kissing scene when she reportedly received a message from Jinky Pacquiao which reads:

This is Jinky Pacquaio, I saw you with my husband in a kissing scene. How sweet! Ito ang masasabi ko, kung isa ka rin sa bumabalak na manira at sirain ang pamilya ko, hindi kita uurungan o kaya gusto mo, pupuntahan kita sa Wowowee at ipagsigawan ang kalandian mo. Balita ko, nagpahanap ka daw ng bahay. Pera ba ang kailangan mo? Subukan mo mga balak mo, lalabanan kita."

Friends of the Pacquiaos however denied that it was Jinky who sent Valerie the text message.

GMA 7's Philippine version of Marimar has been consistently high in the ratings which made the TV network decide to extend the show to 7 more weeks. This means that viewers of Marimar will be watching the show until March next year. I just hope that the teleseries extension will not have a negative effect on the story. Viewers of Marimar watch the show because of the fast paced story.

Anyway, the episode 85 of the Marimar series aired last night, November 7, has brought much suspense to Marimar televiewers. Many thought that Marimar will pursue her wedding to Rodolfo San Jinez. This episode might again boost the ratings of Marimar. The coming episode 86 though where Marimar will be catching Inocencia and Sergio in an intimate scene might affect the number of Marimar viewers. Maganda na sana pinagulo pa. People can get tired watching when the story starts to be beating around the bush.

Kamandag, which premiered on November 19, 2007 and replaced the original time slot of Philippine Marimar, is a fantaserye that is inspired by the works of Carlo J. Caparas. Kamandag is a half-snake and half-human character portrayed by Richard Gutierrez. Kamandag is reportedly one of GMA 7'S most expensive teleseries.

GMA 7’S Marimar is supposed to be a remake of the original Mexican telenovela of the same title. The Philippine version of Marimar, however, has made several alterations on the plot and characters. Nevertheless, GMA 7’s Marimar has consistently gained high ratings since it premiered on August 13, 2007.

Marimar Philippines has also brought actress Marian Rivera into the limelight. Marian Rivera who plays Marimar/ Bella Aldama teams up with Dingdong Dantes who plays the character of Sergio Santibañez.
