It seems that the Kapuso network will be having a good new year despite it being implicated with the AGB Nielsen TV ratings issues and its ongoing legal battle with rival network ABS CBN. GMA 7 will seem to have a lucky new year if luck is based on the 2008 buena mano TV ratings for January 1 and 2.

Marimar despite its increasingly sickening plot still remains in its primetime top spot and the new koreanovela Coffee Prince, is already on the 8th spot.
