Actress Gretchen Barretto is in the news again and this time, it is because of a rumored credit card swiping incident that happened in Dusit Hotel in Makati. According to PEP, Gretchen invited her friends Ruffa Guttierez, Pops Fernandez, someone named Josie and her sister Marjorie for a dinner at the hotel. The incident allegedly started when Gretchen Barretto paid for their bill with her credit card and the waiter returned the card to her because it was rejected.

The controversial actress reportedly asked the waiter to swipe the card again saying "That cannot be, we own the bank!". Of course, La Greta is not bankrupt and least likely to need probate inheritance funding (the sort of cash advances given to heirs of probate estates) but the card was rejected three times and Ruffa Guttierez ended up paying for the 4300 peso bill.

People at the hotel reportedly overheard somebody in the group saying that Gretchen Barretto's partner Tony Boy Cojuangco might have cut off her credit card.

June 28 is one of the few days that Filipinos are united in doing one thing and that is sitting and watching the pacquiao vs diaz video in their television sets. The Pacquiao vs Diaz Lethal Combination Fight on June 28, 2008 will be held in Mandalay Bay & Resort, Las Vegas and as early as now, many people may already be searching for the cheapest tickets for the Pacquiao Diaz fight. Pacman has also reportedly expressed his interest in facing Ricky Hatton in a boxing bout if he wins in the Diaz vs Pacquiao fight.

A Richard Gutierrez- Heart Evangelista tandem will be seen in the new upcoming telebabad series in GMA 7. Codename: Asero will be Heart's first major series in GMA 7 right after she transferred as a talent from ABS CBN. Madonna has just released a new music video from her new album Hard Candy which will hit the music stores on April 29. "4 minutes" features Madonna and Britney Spear's Ex, Justin Timberlake.

I am a Madonna fan but I do not like the music video nor the song. It sounds monotonous and a far cry out from Madonna favorites like "Music" and "Material Girl". There were also no graphical impacts that I love best in those Madonna music videos like "Frozen". The 4 minutes music video should ideally be 4 minutes but this video exceeded 7 seconds.

Britney still has IT. After her rehab, her scandalous MTV presentation and a hell of a life, Britney Spears still has the voice that brought her to the top. I was reading some yahoo news in my personal page today when I noticed a feature about Britney Spears' new video. Aside from the new cartoon concept and futuristic feature of the music video that make anyone curious to watch it, I still enjoyed the beautiful voice of the singer.

I might have been very late with the news but I just learned today that Heroes creator Tim Kring have decided on venturing in another Heroes season. I have to say that I am not as satisfied with the plot and story of Heroes season 2 but I blame it on the writers' strike. I am still optimistic that Heroes Season 3 will be as great as Heroes season 1.

Anyway, I was looking for some Heroes Season 3 videos but the best I got was a blurred video trailer in youtube. I am not posting it here because the video quality is really disgusting. I will not be surprised though to be seeing a lot of plot and even video spoilers soon. Anyway, some buzz says that Heroes 3 will be focusing on the villains of the story. Well, lemme say hello to Sylar once again. I am excited to watch Heroes Season 3 episode 1 soon.

I want to watch Boiling Rock video, the 14th episode in the Book 3 of my currently favorite TV show Avatar: The Last Airbender. I already watched (and even rewatched all the other books) and I can't wait to see what will happen after Zuko and Aang went to the Firebending Masters (Book 3 Episode 13). I believe many avatar fans like me are already restless to see the newest episode of the Avatar. I checked some Avatar sites, forums and discussions and man, Avatar fans are getting angry with Nick for not releasing Boiling Rock soon.

Anyway, I tried to look for some Boiling rock spoilers and leaks in youtube but in vain. Well if Iroh is here in our house, he must be telling that patience is a virtue and that I must wait for the right time to watch Boiling Rock and the other episodes of the Avatar. Okay, but I can be as impatient as Zuko sometimes hahahah. Anyway, I got this video instead:

Well, I was scouring for some Avatar videos in youtube (hoping to see some Boiling Rock spoilers) when I happened to see a video instead that tells about an upcoming Avatar Movie in November 2009.

Anyway, I made a research and it appears that there really will be an Avatar Movie by 2009 and it will be by the Titanic genius James Cameron. Too bad, the movie does not seem to be about the nick cartoon but about some aliens. The movie will also star Sigourney Weaver.



I still hope though that this buzz about the Avatar: The Last Airbender Movie is true and it will be shown not later than 2009. Our family will surely watch this movie.

Actor Dennis Trillo is among the most talented young actors in GMA 7 and while he has played major roles in other GMA shows such as Darna, Majika and Supertwins, Dennis Trillo deserves a better role other than a handsome leading man. At last, that break may finally been given as Dennis Trillo is set to play the lead role in an upcoming telefantaserye from GMA 7, Gagambino.

Gagambino is another television show that is insipired by a Carlo Caparas graphic novel and is scheduled for showing in the middle of 2008.
